The assignment: My good friend Neetu is engaged to Ken and wanted pictures for their “Save The Date” announcement.

We decided to play on and around the Santa Monica Pier.  We went up top and played a bit, but we ended up choosing more images taken on the sand underneath.  The have such great personalities that I wanted to capture the essence of their joy more than anything.

Can you feel the love?

I processed the RAW images in Adobe Lightroom and boosted both the contrast and saturation a bit.
I borrowed a lens from my neighbor Joe for some of these shots.
