JD Rant – Low Flow Toilets

Happy Friday Everyone!  I apologize, in advance, but sometimes I just need to get some things off my chest.  One of those times is now.

I recently had to have low flow toilets installed in the building that I manage.  Sure they’re touted to “save water” and thus, the environment, but is the full story more complicate and dare I say “messy”???

As is the case lately, this was shot with the Nokia Lumia 1020 with the Cast & Crew of 1, in my apartment. Enjoy!

The Unofficial Facebook Variants

Facebook has become a staple in our lives.  It is the social network that nearly everyone is on.   It is so large that not being on Facebook is akin to being anti-social.   Of course, with that many users, the site attracts a variety of personalities and we’re seeing some unofficial variants of The Zuck’s lil dormroom project.

I’ve had chats with friends about these things, so I know that I’m not the only one who has these thoughts.  I like to think I possess an abundance of brilliance that makes me unique, but apparently that’s not the case.  Oh yeah, we were talking about the Facebook variant that have morphed their way into the the network and left unchallenged, will significantly alter our online existence and taint our social experience.

What are these “variants”?  Today, I’m looking at two and ranting about one.  Yes, there will be a JD rant!

Why I Hate Instagram

As I sit to write this blog entry, the thought strikes me that it is odd to have such an emotional response to a service, especially one that I don’t even use.  Needless to say, since I’m still typing, that those thoughts were quickly squashed in my brain.  To the many that rely on InstaGrime to display your meals in what you think is a quirky, artsy way, I might have to spend a bit more time explaining.  Let’s see if I can filter through the nonsense and get this issue squared away.  See what I did there?
